ICON Tourist DOWN VEST

The ICON TOURIST VEST is well suited for both daily activities and outdoor excursions.

In the ICON TOURIST model, we have used an innovative i-Tube material from the Japanese company Toray, where the down chambers are formed during the fabric weaving process. This solution provides higher down retention compared to traditionally stitched models. Additionally, the material has been coated with a hydrophobic DWR layer, which allows the vest to absorb moisture more slowly and makes it resistant to light rain. The bottom part of the vest can be easily adjusted in the pockets, which is particularly useful on very cold days when we have multiple layers of clothing on.

Design Małachowski — Characteristic of our jackets, is the attention to functionality and minimalist design. In each of our jackets, we use the same regulation solution - we hide all the pullers in the pockets. In this way, we reduce the number of protrusions that can be snagged, leading to damage or dangerous situations. In addition, this solution helps maintain the aesthetics and simplicity of the form.

Material:

Toray i-Toube - This is an innovative fabric weaving technology. It involves the creation of baffles, already in the production process at the factory. Yarn is interwoven between the outer and inner layers of fabric. This unique technology replaces baffle stitching, avoiding disturbing the fabric structure with traditional stitching, resulting in increased durability. A second important feature is the use of bi-directional stretch fibres, which make the material stretchable. The combination of these two factors makes the material more comfortable and downproof. The no-stitching also improves the windproofing and, in combination with the DWR layer, also the water repellency of the clothing.
